These terms apply to your purchase of the Year 4 Summer Package from Geek School Tutoring Ltd (company number 08920629). They should be read alongside our main website Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. By completing payment, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
1. The package The Year 4 Summer Package includes small-group tuition from June to August 2026 across the four 11+ subjects (English, maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning), free access to The Story Clinic creative writing course, and a free placement assessment. Tuition is delivered in groups of up to 6 children.
2. Fees and payment The fee payable is the amount shown on the payment link at the time of purchase. The full-summer package fee is £575. Payment is taken as a single one-time payment by card or, where available, by Klarna or Clearpay. Where you choose Klarna or Clearpay, your instalment agreement is between you and that provider, and Geek School Tutoring receives the full amount at the point of sale. We also accept Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers by prior arrangement.
3. Registration and safeguarding Geek School Tutoring is Ofsted registered. You must complete your child’s full registration on our booking system, including emergency contact details, before their first session. We reserve the right to delay a child’s start until registration is complete. We are committed to safeguarding and may decline or withdraw a place where necessary to protect the welfare of children in our care.
4. Course dates and delivery The package runs from June to August 2026. Tuition is delivered in person at our Beckenham or Catford centre, or live online via Microsoft Teams, as selected. Exact group, day and start date are confirmed by us following your child’s placement assessment.
5. Placement assessment The free assessment is used to place your child in the most suitable group. Placement is at our professional discretion, with your child’s best interests in mind.
6. The Story Clinic The Story Clinic is an online course provided as a bonus. Access is granted on enrolment. As digital content supplied immediately, your right to cancel the digital element is lost once you access it, which you acknowledge on activation. This does not affect your statutory rights in respect of the tuition.
7. Cancellations and refunds You have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. If you ask us to begin the tuition within that period, you may be charged for any sessions already delivered up to the point you cancel. Once tuition has begun beyond the 14-day period, fees are non-refundable, save at our discretion or where required by law. We do not refund individual missed sessions, but we will provide catch-up materials where possible. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Attendance Sessions run to the published schedule. Please tell us as soon as possible if your child cannot attend. Persistent non-attendance does not entitle you to a refund or extension.
9. Changes to the course We may need to adjust the timetable, tutor, group or delivery format. Where we make a significant change, we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can.
10. Outcomes While we are proud of our results, no tutoring can guarantee a child’s performance in any assessment or entrance test, and we do not warrant any particular outcome.
11. Liability Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability arising from the package is limited to the fee you have paid.
12. Data protection We process your and your child’s personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law.
13. Governing law These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
