I am a survivor of the 11 Plus exams, having passed and attended an independent school myself, and I am also the mother of two amazing children who have done likewise. Therefore, I have a holistic view of the process from all perspectives: the student, the parent and the tutor.
As a journalist with over two decades of experience working on top UK publications like Cosmopolitan, Glamour, and BBC Good Homes, I bring my professional writing expertise to our 11 Plus preparation writing courses.

Ideally, preparation should begin 12-18 months before the exam. This gives your child enough time to develop skills and confidence without feeling rushed. However, our resources can help at any stage of preparation.
Which services do you offer in-person vs. online?
We offer in-person tuition at our Beckenham and Lewisham centres in London. However, most of our specialised services, including the Creative Writing Crash Course, Classic Reading Club, and 11 Plus Interview courses, are available online to students worldwide.
How can I determine which resources my child needs most?
We recommend starting with our assessment service, which identifies your child’s strengths and areas for improvement. Alternatively, contact us directly and we’ll help you select the most appropriate resources based on your child’s current abilities and target schools.
Do you cater to both grammar and independent school preparation?
Yes! Our resources are designed to prepare students for both grammar and independent school entrance exams. We have specialized materials for different exam boards, including GL Assessment, SET, CSSE as well as for specific independent schools.
