There is nothing like good structured practice to get children prepared for the Wandsworth of Graveney tests. That’s the purpose of the Summer Holiday Intensive courses.
After one week, your child will leave feeling extremely familiar with all the Wandsworth Test and/or Newstead Wood School test material. You will be given detailed feedback about your child’s performance, as well as a detailed guidance and what they need to meet that mark – and stay at the top end of the scores leading up to the exam.
Who the Course is For: The Summer Holiday Intensive Courses for the Wandsworth Test or the Newstead Wood School Test is for children entering Year 6 in September 2017.
What the Summer Holiday Intensive Course Entails: During the sessions, there will be focussed preparation for the Wandsworth Test and Newstead Wood Test, covering the 25 questions types in Verbal Reasoning and the six types in Non-Verbal Reasoning. Work will include timed tests using the identical test papers, going through papers to discuss and explain incorrect answers, as well as speed training for the tests.
Where: at our Norwood site in Upper Norwood, Central Hill close to West Norwood and Gipsy Hill train stations.
When: Monday 7th to Wednesday 9th August 2017.
Time and costs: Morning session only (9am-12pm, £160 per week) or All-day session (9am-5pm, £300 per week)
Why the Course is Covering Tests for Two Different Schools: Both papers are written by the same publisher, GL Assessments, covering Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
