Geek School Tutoring is an 11 Plus expert, which helps children with grammar school selection tests in Sutton, Bexley, Kent, Bromley (St Olaves and Newstead Wood schools) and Medway. We have an excellent record of helping children gain scholarships to some of the top independent schools in country, namely Dulwich College, City of London Girls, James Allen Girls, Trinity and Whitgift.
Lessons are bespoke to each child’s individual needs, with the added bonus of having some healthy competition among their peers, due to the setup of classes.
We have a small class size policy, with high staff ratio. This means that children typically work between a 1:2 and 1:4 ratio with a tutor on hand during the entire lesson.
We DO NOT use computer programmes to teach children, or pointless repetitive worksheets that bore children. Instead, ours is a traditional approach to learning: taught lessons ON PAPER, homework (which we mark ourselves and support children with corrections). So, like at our other venue, 11 Plus Tuition at our Herne Hill (Norwood) centre will deliver our history of excellent results.
